Donate to Venezuela Earthquake Relief
On 24 June 2026 two earthquakes struck northwestern and central Venezuela thirty-nine seconds apart. More than 6,000 people died and over 50,000 were injured. Ten of thousands of families who lost their homes that night are still living in shelters.
In memory of Antonella Loera, UWC LPC '26 Alum and one of the victims. UWC New York is raising relief funds for Cáritas de Venezuela, the relief arm of the Venezuelan Catholic Church. Its volunteers run community kitchens, distribute hygiene and sanitation kits, and treat children for malnutrition. They were working in these states long before June.
Every dollar raised here goes to Cáritas de Venezuela via Catholic Relief Services . UWC NYC Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3), so your gift is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
