About The Event
Feel the sand between your toes on August 9th! For the 9th year running, we'll be enjoying the sun and waves at the beach in Far Rockaway for our August SSS. The afternoon will be toasty, so expect to take some dips in the water to stay cool and bring lots of sunscreen.
The ferry is the most scenic way to get to the beach!
For most of us, we'll take the 11:45 AM Far Rockaway ferry together. You are responsible for buying your own Ferry Ticket.
Please try to make it in time to take the ferry with the group, it'll be more fun! But if you do miss us, take a later ferry and meet us at the beach around the 109th st entrance. We will coordinate on our exact location via WhatsApp. You're welcome to return to Pier 11 on any ferry.
